Another milestone for innovative mobility research: With the opening of the new building for driving dynamics simulators, the AMG GmbH research center in Affalterbach has been purposefully expanded.

As the general planner, we were responsible for the “FDY Vehicle Dynamics Simulator” section in what is known as Area 63. Our architectural concept combines a dark base section for the highly complex simulators with a striking white structure housing the office floors. The contrast between the facade materials and the horizontal bands of windows give the building its distinctive identity. Inside, two dynamic simulators form the heart of the building. They are complemented by control rooms, laboratories, workshops, and modern work and meeting areas.

Projects like this can only be realized through the collaboration of many stakeholders. We would like to thank everyone who worked together to make this project a reality !
