For the past year, Volkswagen has been investing in the modernisation of the OTC 2 Genuine Parts Centre at its Baunatal site.
A key component of the project is the construction of a high-bay warehouse approximately 30 metres high, which rises from the opened-up roof of the existing building.
The logistics planning covers approximately 70,000 m². Including the modification of the sprinkler system and other technical facilities, the overall project spans approximately 110,000 m² and will be implemented with all construction work carried out while operations continue.Logistics planning was handled by RSE Fabrik Logistik.
