On the existing factory site, a building for the development and testing of heat generation systems was to be integrated into the existing hall structure. In two construction phases, after the demolition of the existing hall, functions such as test benches, sound measurement rooms, prototype workshop, laboratories, manufacturing and development areas with offices were housed. The centerpiece of the so-called "Technikum" is formed by the highly installed test stand hall and the specially designed sound measurement laboratories.
