Rommelag is one of the world’s leading specialists in aseptic filling technologies and the inventor of Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) technology, as well as flexible containment systems based on plastic materials. As orders increase, additional space is needed for the existing production facilities at the Sulzbach-Laufen site. The planning scope currently to be delivered by RSE+ includes the following building components:

The two-storey so-called “Backbone” corridor, which—considering hygiene requirements—enables the separation of different movement processes and their connections; the single-storey packaging building with a logistics area,goods receiving and shipping areas for the logistical connection, as well as a two-storey office wing with a break area;

A key element is the connecting core building between the existing and the extension structure. In addition to the stairwell, it will also include a heavy-duty freight lift, allowing most of the required production machinery to be brought in.

The planning is designed to ensure a potential expansion of the production areas, including packaging as well as high-bay warehouse space, can meet future growth forecasts.
