The new Jenoptik site in Dresden was officially inaugurated – in the presence of Saxony’s Minister President Michael Kretschmer.
We at RSE+ are delighted to have been responsible for the planning of this ultra-modern new building. The result is a forward-looking building that combines functionality, sustainability and architectural quality - entirely in the spirit of the internationally active technology group Jenoptik.
After around two and a half years of construction, Jenoptik inaugurated its new high-tech fab in Dresden – the company’s largest single investment in recent history. The facility produces high-precision micro-optics and sensors for advanced manufacturing technologies, including AI chips.
The opening not only marks the successful completion of the project, but also a clear commitment to further strengthening Silicon Saxony as a centre of innovation for the semiconductor industry.
