The terminal building was planned as a compact structure with two floors and a drought-tightly integrated technical/support level. The building body can be extended on both sides in the longitudinal direction. The terminal is accessed from the land side for passenger operations on level 1. The airside access for the flight operations is on level 0. The timber roof structure on level 1 rests on a reinforced concrete construction and gives the building its character.
