For the medical and pharmaceutical company B. Braun a new production facility for disposable medical products for infusion therapy was errected at its site in Melsungen. Functionally as well as in design it refers to the existing production close by. Five floors connect to the existing production on Levels 3 and 4. A logistics area is accommodated on levels 1 and 2, which is served by the factory road. The Sustainable concept involves energy-efficient building technology, use of a wood chip power plant, photovoltaics, an a reduction of inner-city transport.
