Vision becomes reality - the CO₂-neutral factory of tomorrow
With today’s groundbreaking ceremony, the official start of the construction phase has been marked. RSE+ is designing a modern, carbon-neutral production facility for Aesculap AG that sets new standards in sustainability, functionality, and technology.
On the approximately 130 x 70 metre site, a two-storey production building will be completed by 2027, housing 250 CNC machines and providing workspace for 350 employees. At the heart of the energy concept is a geothermal field with 90 boreholes, each 200 metres deep – ensuring a constant indoor temperature. Good for people, machines, and the environment.
