The Willy-Brandt School is part of the Brückenhof School Centre as a vocational school. With a three-story extension of 450 m², the spatial concept was adjusted to the new requirements, the interiors restructured, and better light exposure achieved through the integration of inner courtyards. The more than 40-year-old existing building was gutted and fundamentally renovated. The renovation took place in 4 construction phases while the facility remained in operation. The chosen dark gray of the façade corresponds with the already renovated and white-illuminating façade of the neighboring Lichtenberg School.
