The Willy-Brandt School is part of the Brückenhof School Centre as a vocational school. With a three-story extension of 450 m², the spatial concept was adjusted to the new requirements. The classrooms, specialized rooms, and common areas were restructured and now receive more natural light thanks to the incorporation of interior courtyards. The more than 40-year-old existing building was gutted and fundamentally renovated. The renovation took place in 4 construction phases while the facility remained in operation. The chosen dark gray of the façade corresponds with the already renovated and white-illuminating façade of the neighboring Lichtenberg School.
